Antique Lamp 3 and 4

Not sure where to post this...but I couldnt find these lamps on the item listings...

 

 

 

I recieved an antique lamp that gave me 500Xp in any skill I wanted. I had to do the safety test quest(though it doesnt appear on teh list of quests)

 

 

 

Its located between edgeville and barbarian village, you have to go in through the cellar door, and talk tot eh guard, who will tell you to read all the jail doors before hell let you upstairs. Once upstairs you talk to the teacher guy, he gives you the test, its in your inventory, click it and answer the questions. Once thats done he'll give you the 2 lamps, also tell you that in the jail cell in the basement behind a poster is more stuff to explore, get to teh highest level, pull the lever and go back down to one of two doors, that arent the one you came in through, and it will take you further down into caves, there is a chest, I got safety gloves, not sure if there are other types or not...Theres a ton of high leveled creatures, but none attack you.

This place is known as "The Stronghold of Player Safety" and is not considered a quest necessarily, that's why it wasn't on your list. :P

 

 

 

Just a bit of information about this area...it's more like the Stronghold of Security intended to educate players on submitting good abuse reports because there was a time where excessive reports were submitted that were false and wasted Jagex's time that could be spent on more important issues.

 

Don't know if that helps shed some light on what this "area" actually is. :thumbsup:

 

 

 

As for the lamps, they are the same as other 500xp lamps from what I've gathered, only red if I'm not mistaken.
