I know what you're thinking. Moss giants are easy to kill, and are not even a challenge. Yes, but on f2p, they drop the near best stuff.

 

Suggested Armor:

 

 

*If using this layout, helmet NOT required. Plus, moss giants drop helmets anyway.

 

Suggested Inventory:

 

 

 

 

What they drop:

 

* Gold: 2-700

 

* 100%: Big bones

 

* Weapon: Magic staff, Mithril sword

 

* Armour: Black sq shield, Steel med helm, Steel kiteshield

 

* Runes/Arrows: Air (18-28), Earth(27), Chaos(7), Nature(5,6), Law(3-6), Cosmic(3), Death(3), Iron(15), Steel(30)

 

* Misc: Steel bar, Spinach roll, Coal, Uncut gems, Body talisman

 

 

 

Proof they drop good stuff:

 

I was fighting them, and so I logged all I got from them.

 

T1: Big bones and 5 gp :(

 

T2: Big bones and black sq sheild (about 500 gp)

 

T3: Big bones and 132 gp

 

T4: Big bones and uncut saph.

 

T5: Big bones and nothing

 

T6:Big bones and 20 air runes

 

T7:Big bones and 30 steel arrows

 

T8:Big bones and mith sword

 

T9:Big bones and nothing

 

T10:Big bones and law runes- 4
