Why are rune broken pickaxes 44k each? I have heard that the randoms that makes it happen is going away, is this true?

Goals:

94 magic

94 ranged

55 slayer

Addy gloves-done

Easiest answer: Jagex is removing the random that give's broken pickaxes, and people think that they're not going to remove the previously broken ones/replace with fixed ones (Which they are going to do). So people think that they can get rich off of the broken pics.
