What's the fastest way to get to 55 Smithing from 50? I don't wanna lose TOO much, but I can afford to lose 1m if I need to.

IDK cost wise, you'll have to check with GE prices and stuff.

 

 

 

Gold w/goldsmith gualents=best Smith xp, you lose cash though. Gold bars sell ALOT lower then the ore

 

 

 

Steel pl8s--> I'm sure you can make them at 50? Alching Pl8s are great:) It makes you save alot of money

 

 

 

For slow+cost effective which you don't want--> iron knives.

 

 

 

 

 

So in speed

 

-->Gold+galnets

 

-->pl8s

 

-->knives

 

 

 

Cost

 

Gold+gaulnets=always lose cash

 

Pl8s=depending on what you buy/get yourself. You can lose a little/break even/get small profit.

 

Knives=Purley for the cash, you can make large amounts of cash for this extremly long task

Check G.E prices/ignore if your mining them. and choose your best approch. Also although you pay extra for not being 60 smith. Try using the Blast furnace, speeds it up alot(if your using coal). But since you'll have to pay. Make sure you get some runners or you won't get enough runs in to pay for the operation.
