Sorghaghtani
When the mounds reset after a flag planting, they only reset for a limited area. If you have cleared out an area larger than the reset, you can start clearing again easily. You get points for clearing mounds, in varying amounts, and can find more ogleroots to trade for gold (50 each) or to use against rabbits (makes them disappear temporarily). Also, I have found that you get very few (<5) points for being "nearby" when another player plants a flag. Even if I am standing in the same square as that player. Your time is better spent enlarging a cleared area before the reset occurs. Sorghaghtani

You're right about getting less points and the area not resetting seeds that aren't dug up. The ogleroots can be dug up, but also bought from Farmer Winkin for 10 gp each. He buys them back when you leave the Winkin's farm for 10 gp, not 50 gp, but you can use them while playing to shrink those rabbits from sight for a little while. You're also right about getting points without digging or placing flags! All you have to do is stand near a farmer checking for seeds under another player's flag and you get a few points. You're right about it not really being worth it, but it's still probably worth mentioning, right?
