d3r
Ok guys, i have been playing RS since the "classic days" little 2d figures and all SO these new new changes may have screwed me? i hope you guys can help me out. so i started when it was ok to have multiple accounts with different skills because it was easy to get items from account to account. for example i have a lvl 77 pure PKer.. i have a lvl 69 pure mage PKer i have a lvl 40 pure ranger PKer i have a money maker.. with 70mining and 71smithing i have a crafter/cooker/fisher with 70+ in those stats now heres the problem i found... i started playing RS again after like a year break so after these crazy new changes i cant transfer items from account to account anymore i have 2000 mith plates on my smither i need to get to my mage so i can high lvl alch them and then move that money to a dif account. and i have like 2M in gems i need to get to my crafter from another account. now usually i would just drop trade them (which seems you cant do that anymore) or id give it all to my friend and then have him give it to my other account.. but now theres a dumb trade limit. soooo whats the verdict? am i screwed or do you guys have a way to get items from one account to another
pureprayer
Screwed. Maybe if you can get junk or somewhat... you can use it for "just stuff". Pureprayer, you're awesome.
Kidd_Varrow
You can't do it. Transferring items between accounts has always been against the rules as far as I'm aware and now they've made it extremely difficult to do so. Also, trying to figure out ways to get around Jagex's rules is against TIF rules, so this thread is over.

d3r
@pure prayer- could you elaborate on that? @monkeyguy -wow... just wow.. its not like im trying to hack jagex and get millions and steal peoples accounts and get them killed and buy a pink skirt and make them wear it so next time they log on they see they've been robbed and raped. no no all i want to do is move MY stuff around on MY OWN accounts, its not a big deal mr goody goody "you're breaking the rules" @skylor - well honestly i dont mind getting banned if i cant transfer my items because id have no reason to play anyway... i mean i dont wanna just throw away the skills.. and i cant just pick one to start over... so if i cant figure out a way.. i wont be playing anyway xD ..... these new changes suck so bad LOL
pureprayer
If your magician magically had items (worth 2000 mith plates :-w) that he didnt need he could trade those for the plates. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
d3r
^gotcha.... i was thinking that too.. but then theres like a 10k limit every 15minutes or somthing...so thats gonna take a long time. i was also thinking.. couldnt i make my plates bank notes... go out to a remote place in the wild.. have my friend kill me.. he takes my plates.. i get on my other account and i kill him.. and then pick up my plates... would that work? mister_moocky
Pvp drops use complicated drop tables that are based on your time in pvp and the 'impressiveness' of the kill to stop drop trading like that. quit
tripsis
no no all i want to do is move MY stuff around on MY OWN accounts, its not a big deal mr goody goody "you're breaking the rules" Well it's still a violation of the RuneScape Rules and therefore also a violation of the Tip.it Forum Rules. It may have been possible to transfer items in the past, but it was never "ok," as you put it. It has always been against the rules and it still is. RuneScape Rule 8 - Multiple Logging-In clearly states: You may not transfer items between your accounts in any way. It is a bannable offense and a violation of the rules. At Tip.it, we strictly enforce ALL Jagex rules. It doesn't matter if YOU say that it's not a big deal, because it's a big deal to Jagex and their opinion is the one that counts. So yes, you are "screwed," as you put it, and it's entirely your fault because you chose to break the rules in the first place. So now you must suffer the consequences, which are minor considering that you are not banned. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
