You are given an oil lamp when you and Zanik teleport into the earthquake cave. I assume yours must have gone out when you jumped across the water after leaving Juna?

 

 

 

I added a tinderbox to the list of items, to cover this eventuality. Let me know if this was different from what happened to you.
