March 24, 200917 yr Hi, everyone. I have a question regarding locked accounts, recovering them, etc, etc. Okay. So, here's the deal. A loooong time ago. Right before RS II came out, I made an account. I played this account for a while, got pretty good, became a member, blah, blah, blah.... Then I got bored of RS and quit playing for a while. Well, this sneaky fellow that I used to go to school with (who likes to use 3rd party software and other cheater and hacker crap like that) hacks the account. Apparently he's been playing it ever since. Well, just recently I started playing RS every now and again just to pass the time. I thought about my old account one day and decided to try and recover it, because I figured it was just sitting around. Well, I fill out the recovery form, and bam! I got the account. I log in and everything is great. Then, I log out later on and can't log back because the password is incorrect. I think the other guy has enough info to use the recovery form too, so now we're going back and forth with ownership of the account. He thinks I'm a hacker and had the account locked. Now, I have to wait for Jagex to evaluate my unlock form. I'm afraid this whole cycle is just going to continue. Anyone know how to solve this? Is there some final, definite way to prove I am the original creator and user of this account?
March 24, 200917 yr I'm not to sure but if you had the original membership on it I think you could use your billing info to prove it.
March 24, 200917 yr Author Yeah. I have no problem supplying enough info to reclaim the account every time the other guy gets the pass. I just want to find a way to reclaim the account and keep it for good. I included a little info about the very first membership on the account and who's name it was under, but I don't know if that would set this whole thing to rest. I just don't want to fight with the guy for the next eternity over this account.
