Hey, after reading the farming skill on tip.it out of boredom i, for the first time, noticed the line at the leprechaun;

 

"He will also note any farming produce from allotments, as well as flowers, grimy herbs, and fruit from trees, even if you can't yet grow the items at your farming level."

 

I have tried forever and ever trying to get my toadflax noted but but all he does it to make my tools. Have I got this wrong? :|

You have to use the herbs on him. You cannot use clean herbs, only grimy.
