The hobgoblin seemed to drop Gold charms for me, however, the bestiary says they do not drop any charms. I am sure this should be changed on the bestiary.

I am very sorry about this but I looked at the wrong level Hobgoblin. #-o

 

I'm not sure if this correction still applies.

Yup seems you did look at the wrong one, the hoblins near the crafting guild are shown to drop charms on their bestiary entry. No harm done :)...
