I remember hearing a while back (12 months +) that there is a shop that buys unstrung bows for a decent price. Does anybody know if this place exists as I have a pile of willow longs (U) that won;t sell on the GE. :(

i heard it was in brimhaven and that jagex fixed it coz they were more than the market price

They were sold to the charter boat people, which paid generous sums.. Jagex changes the prices to be GE value-> not worth it.
