I don't know if this is information is anywhere else on the forum, but it seemed to be missing (or I stupidly missed it myself!) from the RC skill guide.

 

 

 

Few questions:

 

1) Is it possible to craft Soul Runes?

 

2) What level RC do you need?

 

3) Where is the altar?

You can only craft souls using the ZMI altar, since it crafts a random number of ANY rune. It's located by the red salamander hunter spot.

 

 

 

In theory, you only need 1 rc to make a soul rune, but the higher the more likely. Remember it's random too, so each load you craft you might be 50 souls, only 3, or none at all. Most likely you'll nab about 1-3 at your rc, if any at all.

 

 

 

Don't go there just for money. ZMI is terrible money, it's best for xp.

Oh, I've crafted at ZMI already. I knew that was one (rather crappy!) way of crafting soul runes.

There isn't, but keep your fingers crossed! There are blood and soul rifts in the abyss, and Jagex released the blood altar. So the soul one should be coming out some day.

People have also found concept art for the talismans and the altar.
