Hi,

 

 

 

Well I previously had two Operating Systems running on two different partitions, but have decided to delete the logical drive, as the OS on it is no longer needed, and I need the free space on my C drive. So, I deleted my E drive, which then became simply unallocated space. Now, I try to resize partition C, but I am not given the option. I really don't know what to do about this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, when I boot up, it still gives me the option to boot into either Operating System, but when I click the OS from my E drive, it gives an error, and I know its because my E drive OS no longer exists. Whats going on?!

Notice that it gives an odd name to my C drive, rather than calling it Local C Drive, as it is. It also says that it has no free space. This is not the case, as it has about 9gb free. :x

not sure, but i think u jsut particition it.

Yeah, I partitioned the unallocated space and tried to just merge with the existing nC drive, no luck. Said the two NTFS systems were incompatible. So I ran chkdsk, and that seemed to fix my partitioning problems!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, I still have the bootup error. It still gives me two options, when there is only one OS installed. Booting up in the non existant OS gives me the error, as expected. But if it doesnt exist, why is it still there? :?
