This song was written entirely by me.

Story:

This song is about the flaws of the human race (violence, rape etc.), and how the world would be a better place if nobody used violence or mistreated people.

Lyrics:

We are like a burning flame

Sometimes we're bright

But other times we're just insane

If this society wasn't so cold

We'd see the day that peace would finally unfold

If we weren't cruel and unfair

We'd hear the resistance in the air

Oh

As I walk through the memories

Care is nowhere in sight

Why must you sin and blacken the light?

Love her and treat her good

Don't absorb the dark

Here you go again, leave a mark

We are like a burning flame

Sometimes we're bright

But other times we're just insane

If this society wasn't so cold

We'd see the day that peace would finally unfold

If we weren't cruel and unfair

We'd hear the resistance in the air

Oh

He was bright

Until he brought a fight

Leave your regrets behind and strengthen your good

Pity his blood

Recite the words of your fallen soul

We are like a burning flame

Sometimes we're bright

But other times we're just insane

If this society wasn't so cold

We'd see the day that peace would finally unfold

If we weren't cruel and unfair

We'd hear the resistance in the air

Oh

Seperate the past from us

Seperate me from the world

Seperate dawn from dusk

Seperate me from the world

Seperate her from him

Seperate humanity

We are like a burning flame

Sometimes we're bright

But other times we're just insane

If this society wasn't so cold

We'd see the day that peace would finally unfold

Some of you might be confused on some parts of the song, so I'll explain:

The Chorus is the "We are like a burning flame..."

"Sometimes we're bright" is supposed to mean that we have made breakthroughs.

"Other times we're just insane" means we use violence and agression. The rest is self-explainatory.

Verse 1 tells a story of an abused girlfriend.

Verse 2 tells a story of a man who is treated like dirt in school, he fights his bully. The bully kills him with a knife.

Verse 3 is a man who wishes to be seperated from the violent world and wants to be put in a place of peace.

No, I am not depressed or anything. Don't get the wrong impression.

I have written songs for months and just came up with this one.

Rate it on a scale of 1-10. 1 being worst, 10 being best.

I liked it.
