getting into vectors. done freehand

Looks good, but the perspective of the mouth looks a bit funky. Not sure what about it it realy is though.

looking good though :)

what is a vector?

Perspective is definitely off. Looks like a fish at the moment.

Also, the teeth are nice, but extremely symbolic (IE - not realistic). I think you could do better on that.

I also think the text placement could be a bit better, throws it off balance at the moment.

There are basically 2 types of digital art. Raster graphics and vector graphics. Raster graphics are made up of grids of colored squares - pixels. Vector graphics are made up of mathematically defined lines - vectors. These vectors can be fully scaled up and down without any loss in quality, something which raster graphics can come nowhere near.

Technically this is actually a raster graphic, but since it was built using vectors, and since you can't really do actual vectors on the web (quite yet.. we're close, evidently), it's called a vector.

I liked your previous sig a lot better, I thought it was one of the better sigs I've seen on tip. :(

This one needs a lot of work, the detail looks non-existant and it looks flat. gsw has mentioned the other flaws with it.

you learn about vectors in geometry. It gets a little bit more complicated but in basic terms you could say that you have two points and the computer justs connects the dots forming a line. Thats vectors in simplest term. They are discussed in geometry and algebra 1 but however aren't a big topic so you probably will/have missed it

its ok lol but umm... a mouth....
