Scorch
RSOF monster hunters seem to want higher than "usual" starts and requirements for sara GWD, that's not the point though. Most of the time they request healing familiars, which I understand, but I always had an idea in my mind that the Terrorbird was the absolute ideal familiar for Zily hunting, due to the energy restore. I don't see how they can use a healing familiar unless its healing makes up the damage Zilyana does to you, which I find completely impossible. I know there are purple sweets, but to to the (usually) longer trips that Saradomin gives, is the cost for purple sweets really worth it, considering they're about 2k a sweet? I just don't see how, say, a Fruit Bat can outperform a Terrorbird in terms of cost-effectiveness in the trip (as I see it, it's a slightly shorter trip but saving a potential 100k PER TRIP) If someone could explain, I'd be much appreciated :
Dire_Wolf
How to deal with all of these problems/questions you have now. Requirement for Saradomin - Recommended Levels RANGED 83 Ranged 83 Defence and hitpoints 75 Prayer 75 Magic, but 80 is recommended 52 Summoning 70 Agility MELEE Verac set or a Godsword 90 Strength, attack, defence, hitpoints 70 Prayer 75 Magic, but 80 is recommended 52 Summoning RSOF Teams If RSOF teams don't accept you despite your good levels that is enough, then ignore them. I don't think most RSOF teams would go the extra mile to help you. As a experienced GWDER, here's my advice: Find friends>Team up>Kill boss>Hilt time. Friends are reliable and you can count on them. I think i have gone to only 1 RSOF Team based trip rofl... Purple sweets HELL NO, this is to expensive. Look away! Terrorbird This is a absolute MUST if your in a team size of 1-3 players. Also the bird is important in a team that has players with low skill levels. The terrorbird is a beginners first friend, and i recommend using this for over 5 trips before you use a other familiar. Bunyip In a team where players are experienced and have good levels, this is a good option. For Bunyip to work, the size of the team must be 5 players. Refer to "Requirement levels" to see what "Good levels" are. So yeah, Bunyip works in a teamsize of 5 players and up. Unicorn High levels use this option because it helps alot. Experienced high levels use this, and they know how to preserve their run energy and i assume alot of us brings 20-50 purple sweets just incase. This familiar can be used at team size 4+ and up. Trying it in a team with 3 players is a risk, unless you are very experienced..
