MstrMonopoly
So, you want to make a pure in F2P. The most common type of pure in F2P is the melee pure. An F2P melee pure will have stats like this 40 Attack 40+ Strength 1 (or 5) Defense The melee pure is also the easiest pure to train and make because of the low cost of items required. MELEE PURE TRAINING GUIDE Attack Levels 1-5 First, we will get our attack to level 5. Start by going to the Grand Exchange in Varrock and buy full iron with an iron scimitar (this will cost about 600 coins). We will use the full iron the entire time we PK/train. Then, go to Edgeville and kill the men in the large house (north of the bank). Men have 7 HP each, so they will give 28 XP in total for attack. You must kill approximately 14 men to get to level 5 attack. Bank all the items they drop, and sell the bones on the Grand Exchange. This will give you enough money to buy some more items. As an alternative, you can kill cows in the field east of Lumbridge. This will give slightly better money but the cow field is always crowded. Strength Levels 1-20 Now go to the Grand Exchange again. Buy a steel scimitar (about 200 coins). Then go back to the large house with lots of men inside. You must kill about 150 men to get to Strength Level 20. Again, bank the drops and bones that you get from the men and sell them on the Grand Exchange for profit. Attack Levels 5-21 Now do the Quest "Vampire Slayer". Use the guide on Tip.It to guide you through it. It should be very easy, but bring around 20 salmon just in case, as Count Draynor has 35 hitpoints and a max hit of 4. After you defeat him, you will gain 4825 Attack Experience, enough to get you to level 21. Attack and Strength Levels 20-40 and 21-40 Both of these skills can be trained in the exact same way. Go to Al-Kharid and train on the Al-Kharid Men. They are located in the castle which is the building with a green looking border. The Al-Kharid Warriors have 19 hitpoints and a max hit of 2. I would recommend bringing food as with your low defense you will get hit quite often. It will take a while to get to 40 attack and strength so be patient. Strength Levels 40+ Once you have 40 Attack, it is time to stop training Attack. (You are a F2P so it is pointless to get higher than rune weapons). You should now concentrate on Strength. At 40 Attack/40 Strength/1 Defence/36 Hitpoints you will have a combat level of 35. Your max hit with a Rune Scimitar (approx 33K coins) and an Amulet of Strength (approx 1.7K coins) is 10, which is much harder than anyone besides a pure mage will hit at level 35. With a Rune 2H Sword (approx 50k coins), your max hit will be 12. I would advise getting to about 60 strength with 40 attack (my main F2P pure has 55 strength right now). Remember, do NOT get prayer or defense. These skills will be useless to you in F2P PKing. Some players like to get 31 prayer for Ultimate Strength, but I feel this is a waste of precious combat levels. In addition, 40 range and magic would be useful, because they add versatility and do not add to your combat level. I piety the fool.
foursideking
meh...i'd only give this a 3.7/10....there aren't really any pictures that show what the creatures look like, and also, it only shows how to make a melee pure. there are many different kinds of f2p pures....and you only showed off 1... RSBDavid
Have you even made a pure? The Range/2h is the dominant pure. I have an account with 61 strength, 10 attack and I own pures with 40 attack and strength. Maybe you should do more research on this subject. 4.6/10 [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
MstrMonopoly
Really? I find using rune scimitar/2h is the most effective. I guess maybe I haven't fought a pure like that... Anyway, from my experience at higher levels of F2P the range tank is the most effective. I piety the fool.

AlperBacon3
I would definately not do the quest vampire slayer! It takes a few HP levels off you pure. Thanks to ~Hiimben~ for the Awesome sig!
