Chaise
Okay, so a few months ago I bought the Logitech MX Revolution mouse. It seemed like a great deal for only $40 (down from $100), but in the long run, it was definitely too good to be true. Installing the software and initial charging was flawless and I loved the thing. However, after about a month the problems started occurring. The first issue I had was when I charged it and instead of filling up the battery, it totally depleted it. So I had to waste another 2 hours for the damn thing to charge (luckily I kept my old mouse). Eventually the scroll wheel got stuck in the "power" scroll setting and everytime I scrolled it basically went straight to the bottom of the page. I eventually fixed that via messing with the scroll wheel. The charging issue I mentioned before started becoming more and more common up til now where the damn thing won't charge at all. Thus leaving me with a $40 dollar fancy paperweight. A fair warning to you all, if something you are buying is marked down significantly (in my case, 60%), don't buy it unless you know it won't give you any problems or you are going to get a good warranty with it. ~~Chaise91~~
das1330
Did you call Logitech? I own an MX revolution mouse as well, and when I had a problem with the scroll wheel (similar to yours) they told me it was a common defect in early hardware revisions, and they cross shipped me a new one so I wouldn't go without the mouse. Extended the warranty another year too.
Chaise
I could do that. Did you call them with a 800 number? Because the one I found isn't an 800 # and I'm not tryin to get charged for long distance. ~~Chaise91~~
das1330
It has been quite a long time since I had my mouse fixed, so I don't recall anymore although i am almost positive they have an 800 number.
