Same. My parents get pissed if I even leave a light on while not needing it, let alone an electricity guzzling PC. A street light will use up more electricity in one night than your pc will in its whole lifetime, but even that amount is tiny in comparison to the electricity that is wasted traveling from the power plant to your house. I restart my computer after installing software, etc., but otherwise I put it to sleep when I'm not using it. I have trouble believing that bit about a street light using more electricity then a computer.

I you're talking about Soccer, I agree entirely. People get killed over a stupid [bleep]ing game or end up in a coma for 5 years. Who the hell cares about who wins or loses? What the hell do you get out of it. Same goes for American Football. People get WAY to excited about what is happening during the game. Seriously, whatever the outcome is, there is NO impact of it on your life. Unless you had money on the game. Even so, what kind of idiot are you gambling your money away?

I'm fairly certain someone has posted this already, but since I'm too lazy to look, here it is. The drinking age is 21 because of something within the body. I guess alcohol inhibits the growth and well-being of that thing until it is 21 years old. I don't know too much about the subject, but that is what I have heard.

Lmao. I get that same feeling. Every time I go by a 7-11 (and only 7-11 - doesn't happen for any other convenience stores) I feel like it's not safe..mainly because of the way it looks. All trashy with bullet holes and [cabbage].

2 defense pures are shunned upon like a Leper during 1 A.D. Until RuneScape Jesus comes down and reduce that level back to one, your stuck with that level. How would they know they are 2 defense? Do stats that low show up on HS now? :o

This is kinda off topic, but does anyone know how to switch classic view control panel to the newer version on XP? There is no button on the side. I have the same problem and can not find accessibility options. Add/Remove programs is still there, though.

Not a keyboard expert but I'm guessing it's a manufacturing glitch. you should call the company that made it and see if there are any other reports of that happening.

I probably will go the combat route (at least for a few combat levels) until my friend wants me to train thieving with him. He has to max out all his other stats first which will be soon so I have time to get cmb up.

I'm not too big on spending money on skills especially when there is a less expensive way. I highly doubt I'd mage rock lobsters since it's overly expensive and I could get mage exp from alching (which is something I can start from scratch - i.e make my own nats, bows, etc..) Making money also isn't really my strong point. I'm terrible at merching and I tend to spread out the money I have over 2 or more skills.

So after ~5 months of not having members due to school, I am finally getting it back. With that said, I was wondering what I should do. I already have 91 thieving planned but I'm not totally sure what I want to do after that. Tell me what you would do and I just might give it a try. I was considering working on combat via slayer and using the charms for summoning but idk if I want to do combat just yet.

I said it in the thread on RSOF, I'll say it here... Since we can't use ANY third party softwares, that obviously means we can not use our operating systems to run RS. Guys if you don't want to break the rules, you better delete your OS.

Exactly what those two said. ^ If a company has to go out of it's way to maybe make DDR sticks for any one person, then the price will be a bit higher.

Hmm..don't really think I've had a favorite computer because all of the ones I've used completely suck. The one I own now blows completely - way too slow and barely plays SD RS. The HP laptop we have is slowly dieing and even when it was working fine, it had it's graphical problems. Now it's HDD is about to kick the bucket. Our iMac (the newer ones) has it's problems, too. No evident troubleshooting problems whenever a program freezes up on you and start up time could be better. Once I get on my own, I plan on buying an ASUS laptop or something of the sort.

Core 2 duo for processor. For the graphics...the choices you have are cruddy, even if you don't plan on playing games. Try to get at least in the 8 series.

A. I think this is a joke... B. Even if you have been hacked 21 times (why are you keeping track), then why don't you just give up at life? C. Was fighting those mages just south of Varrock on that little hill (or at least it used to be a hill), and died. Freaked out. this was when I was level ~10.

I'm afraid of my house when there is no one else here and the only noise is the wind blowing outside. The fear doubles when the lights are off...like if I'm getting something to drink at night. I also get extremely paranoid when I think I'm about to get in trouble.

Do you or don't you tell people openly about playing Rs? Very rarely, and if I do, I talk quietly. When talking to another RS player in real life, do you keep quiet? Like I said above. I will talk quietly and not say anything that makes me sound like a nerd. The conversation is almost always short lived. Would you even admit to one that you are playing Runescape? If they play RS, yeah. If not, I'll just say i'm browsing the web. Would you play in public places? Only if I was REALLY desperate.
