  1. That thing is worse then mine...and my computer blows a whole lot. I agree with them. ^ You could get a decent Core2Duo for the same price as you would if you upgraded Mr Pentium III you have now.
  2. My school can't even afford new Literature books and they cost a fraction of those computers. I'd like to know where schools are getting all this cash in this economy.
  3. Very true. In that case, our characters are actually going through about 10 years in game for every IRL year that passes.
  4. This sounds like a ton of fun. Lol. Gonna keep tabs on this thread.
  5. I think there is definitely different levels of "rareness". 1/75 for d-boots is extremely common compared to say...the KQ. Although they are obviously two total different creatures. You can kill hundreds of mages in one trip, but someone would be lucky to get two KQ kills in one trip.
  6. The problem ALWAYS lies within Java. it's the heaviest program I have on my computer tbh.
  7. Correction: not everyone wants to waste their time grinding on a useless 99. Yep...explains why we both have 99 FM, right? :P
  8. Yay more stereotyping. 80% of my total experience is combat. Also, I logged on for 2 minutes to check ge offers and in that time was verbally abused by some random level 3, saying that I don't have a life. I never said all people with a majority of their exp in combat are the more nooby ones.
  9. I think strength should be added and FM'ing taken down. More people have 99 strength than anything else and firemaking is VERY labor intensive (for me at least) and really annoying. Not everyone can get 99 FM.
  10. I could do that. Did you call them with a 800 number? Because the one I found isn't an 800 # and I'm not tryin to get charged for long distance.
  11. I hate to seem so arrogant but this site needs a Celsius-Fahrenheit converter. Lol Currency converter would be nice, too. Yes I'm so lazy that I can't go to Google and convert it.
  12. Okay, so a few months ago I bought the Logitech MX Revolution mouse. It seemed like a great deal for only $40 (down from $100), but in the long run, it was definitely too good to be true. Installing the software and initial charging was flawless and I loved the thing. However, after about a month the problems started occurring. The first issue I had was when I charged it and instead of filling up the battery, it totally depleted it. So I had to waste another 2 hours for the damn thing to charge (luckily I kept my old mouse). Eventually the scroll wheel got stuck in the "power" scroll setting and everytime I scrolled it basically went straight to the bottom of the page. I eventually fixed that via messing with the scroll wheel. The charging issue I mentioned before started becoming more and more common up til now where the damn thing won't charge at all. Thus leaving me with a $40 dollar fancy paperweight. A fair warning to you all, if something you are buying is marked down significantly (in my case, 60%), don't buy it unless you know it won't give you any problems or you are going to get a good warranty with it.
  13. I think the high level person with only high combat stats are the nooby ones that no one really likes. Thye don't really know how the game is really played and barely live outside of pest control. On the other end of the spectrum, the high level'd players that have non-combat stats to back up their combat are the respectful and wise players. Most of them have done a number of quests so know their way around the game.
  14. I was there when the SS riot was taking place. Didn't really care what Jagex had done with the new rules so I just sat there and looked at all the morons that tried to make a difference. Also, I was at the "pay to PK" riot when everyone was like "We pay, We say". Once again, a bunch of idiots who think they can make a difference. I'm glad some of them actually ended their membership to try and retaliate against Jagex. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
  15. If you just flat out need to know what RAM is compatible with your system then www.crucial.com is definitely your place to go. Other then that, I know very little about RAM and all those numbers. So in the meantime, enjoy your additional memory.
  16. That is an idea, but I think OP just wants to nostalgia feeling of playing a cassette. amirite?
  17. May want to answer Laura. Seems pretty wise imo.
  18. Haha, good one. No matter how many times I lose a non-tradable item, someone will always have one to give me. (i.e Diango and holiday items) It also takes less than a second to dye a sheep any color, and at that exact same millisecond, all the other sheep around it will be the same color.
  19. Since you're given quite a large price range, maybe buy an okay laptop (that can play decent games) and a netbook or cheap laptop for school, web browsing, etc...
  20. Met a guy named "Ak" once. Had a firecape. Was about level 50 if I remember correctly.
  21. I think it's just a bunch of young kids who are figuring out the internet the first time in their lives. They want to try and look "cool" to some people and just treat people (of whom did nothing to them) like crap. Either that, or it's someone with a [cabbage] life that gets off at treating others bad. Eventually those kids will grow up (hopefully...) and all other will get bored and go elsewhere. But when they grow up and/or get bored, there will always be more to replace them. The internet needs to stop being supplied to anyone under 14 if you ask me.
  22. 5'11 3/4" I hate that. :$
  23. Whenever you swear, little stars form over your head and no one knows what you said.
  24. Pretty much what you said. I became f2p back in January after being members for 2 and a half years, so the change was immense. Not nearly as many people are red to me (you know, when you right click someone...) and the things people do are totally different...skill wise. Draynor is packed with woodcutters and the mining guild always has quite a few people in it(steal my rocks :shame: ). I've got about 4 or so f2p skills that are 99 already so I am definitely limited in what I can do. Mining coal gets old fast and smithing is as slow as ever.
  25. RAM is always a plus. Can always buy a hard drive later on. EDIT: Since you're on XP, your best bet is probably 2GB, btw.
