Anyway, I suggest using Deviantart.com and search photoshop/gimp/whatever prorgram your using signature/background/whatever tutorials.

 

 

 

Or you could just try google and search something like easy photoshop signature tutorials.

I second everything that r0ckyk34n3 said ;) Feel free to repost your question in the sticky that he linked to. But I agree that deviantART is a fantastic site for locating tutorials. Tutorials are listed under the Resources category or something like that. Then you can continue to narrow down your search to suit your needs.
