In Melzar's Maze I killed 400 ghosts, and not a single one dropped an orange key? I was in the right place according to many guides and youtube videos, am I just incredibly unlucky? Thanks for any help or assistance that can be offered!:)

First, check your inventory to make sure you don't have one. People have made mistakes similar to that before.

 

 

 

Secondly, if the first thing is wrong, then that is some damn bad luck, just keep at it.

I have the silver one I originally used to get into Melzar's maze, but no orange one. Damn guess I'm just unlucky:P Thanks anyway!

Have you went to bank at all?

Check your quest journal and see if you're even at that part :?

I was told to go and get the Map pieces, so I went into Melzar's maze. I killed rats and got the Red Key, then went through the right door up to the level 19 ghosts. THat's where I'm stuck:P I haven't left the maze at all yet.

Make your way in and start killing some rats till you get a red key. Then go into the door in the north west corner and go up the ladder. Now you should be in a room with ghosts, kill them till you get the orange key. Then go though the door 2nd from the left, then up the ladder.

I have never, ever killed that many ghosts before just to get that key.

 

Perhaps it is a glitch? You should report this to Jagex as it sounds quite serious.

I got it on my 20 something ghost just now:P Yeah I guess I was just seriously unlucky! I got caught in the server crash yesterday so I wasn't sure if that effected it, but I got the red key fine...:P Oh well problem solved! Thanks for all the help.
