one PID 4 issue solution

Featured Replies

Hello. Was having a lot of problems while playing runescape with the PID 4 System eating up a lot of my cpu. Through sysinternal forums I have resolved the issue and thought that I would pass along the fix to anyone else that may have the same problem. The problem that I had was due to having the audio drivers from my motherboard manufacturer installed. This was due to having an onboard sound card and the site that makes drivers for it saying that the motherboard manufacturers might be better if you have an onboard sound card. Anyways they are not. The sound card drivers from Realtek are far better and stop the PID 4 problems completely. So if you have an onboard sound card and are experiencing the aforementioned PID problems then you may want to change your drivers.
