Tormented Demon Guide Edit/Update

Recommended Posts

In the tormented demon guide, it states in the special notes:

Tormented Demons use all styles of attack, and also use protection prayers, switching approximately ever 28 damage you deal to them.

I figure you might welcome a more accurate number than an approximation. Anyone is welcome to test it out if they wish.

The demons switch pray after 31 damage of a particular attack style. 0's count as 2 damage.

While the shield is up, it seems the damage before switch is 10 (this I'm not POSITIVE of), and 0's do not seem to count as damage. Also, you CAN deactivate the shield by hitting a 0 with Darklight. I'm not sure why or how often this occurs or even if it's supposed to, but I have hit a 0, and it said the demon is temporarily weakened. I don't know if this would be something of note to put in the guide, but it would help to know that it is possible.

This statement of approximately 28 damage is made again below the luring the demon section:

As you slay more and more demons, you will learn to predict around what times they will switch attack styles. They switch prayers once you have dealt around 28 damage with a certain style.

If you just count your hits, including 2 for all 0's, you'll KNOW when they will change. Will not be a prediction.

Sorry for the long wait, I've been very busy lately. :(

I went to the Tormented Demons today to research this, and this is some great information, thank you!

Even though you aren't positive about the 10 damage number for Darklight, I'll add the approximate value to give everyone a general idea. A sentence about it is better than nothing at all.

I'll update the guide and credit you! Changes will take effect soon :)

If you want to discuss this further don't hesitate to PM me.
