June 2, 200917 yr I did a bit of math last night, and found that superheating steel is 20k smithing exp/hour. I don't believe this is right. Does anyone have the exact rate? I'd also like mithril/adamant rates if you've got them. : Thanks. Also, if there's a better method that doesn't lose as much, or possibly gain money (besides cannonballs), I'm all ears.
June 2, 200917 yr /facepalm i hate that quest that made me get 70 smithing...soo many cannonballs.... Apart from cannonballs i found that making iron knives made a little profit if you smelted the ores, not sure on the exp rates though ( and current prices of ores and knives ). Although overall i think it was nearly as slow....the expensive alternative to training smithing is gold bar smelting.
