it seems to be one of those things where you try to cross 2 great things and it turns out disgusting. Like hot women and dogs... it would just turn out bad no matter what.

@321: I guess it's kind of an acquired taste. I started listening to bands like Metallica and stuff in elementary school and as I grew up I just kept moving on to heavier and heavier stuff until, well, here I am lol.

My sister went through a goth phase which kinda introduced me to metal, and maybe it was that which kinda turned me off to it(she was really [bleep]y then, and the whole look made me want to stomp a baby(ironically)) but I've always been more of a rock type of guy, I'll listen to just about anything witch a catchy tune though.

 

Edit: I find I'm into a lot of stuff from the 80's.... but I'm not like a musical analyst so i don't know why.

Yeah, same. It's dumb to limit oneself to any one kind of music. Like one day I'll listen to Cattle Decapitation, the next I'll jam out to some Andrew W.K. or something.
