Kool-Aid was originally created in Hastings, in some restaurant (for some reason I'm thinking Perkins) and it took off from there. As this is probably the only thing of note ever to come out of Nebraska, it's pretty overblown. At the actual thing, there's a bunch of stations that have Kool-Aid samples, and you buy a cup that you put the samples in to drink. Other than that, there's mini-rides (like at a fair or w/e), and some live entertainment (mostly local bands and high-school band/orchestras). It's kinda boring tbh, but this is Nebraska, so you can't complain. >.>
