dooie100
Wy Fishing? Fishing is one of the most relaxed skills in whole runescape, unlike mining (or most other skills) you can yust relax without some nervous clicking on those rocks. And fishing is a quite rare skillcape at the moment only 16563 players has got the fishing skillcape. But 73862 people got the cooking skillcape... Me and Fishing At the moment i got 73 fishing, i am fishing right now in f2p  i am making this guide on my road to 99, so over time more methods and other stuff will come in my guide. My friends sometimes ask me: Wy do you like fishing? This is something i can't explain, it is just those fishies who keep calling me F2P: The Road to 99 If you want to get fishing 99 you have to know some things: 1) fishing can get boring for some people, but dont shy away from your goal, just go to use some other method. if you are going to use a other method then it is something different, so you can keep fishing 2) Fishing is a slow skill... around 30-40k xp in f2p maximum, but always remember: Runescape is just a game. and games are for fun! 3) Take sometimes some breaks, you will get slower lvl 99 then, but after a while of funning or training strength you can go back fishing with a fresh mind Lvl 1-20 (F2P) when you are a low fishing lvl, dont think aargh so long way to go!, it is not much longer then if you are lvl 70, yust begin to fish and you will see in 1 week you will be around lvl 50 or higher. Lvl 1-5 From lvl 1-5 you will catch Shrimps buy a small fishing net in the grand exchange and go to draynor village (see route on the map) when you are at the place, use the option 'net' fishing spot, you will start fishing Shrimps now do this intill lvl 5. from lvl 1-5 you need to catch only 39 shrimps! Lvl 5-20 From lvl 5-20 you will catch sardines and later herrings buy in the grand exchange a fishing rod and 205 fishing baits go to the fishing spot where you also fished shrimps but this time use the option 'bait' fishing spot you will start catching sardines now when you reached lvl 10 you will also catch some herring from lvl 5-20 you need to catch less then 205 sardines (depends on how much herring you catch) Map for the route to Draynor Blue: Fishing Spot Black route: Route if you don't have a Explorers Ring (3) Green route: Route if you have a Explorers Ring (3) (cabbage port) Lvl 20-65 From lvl 20-65 you will be fishing trouts and salmons, they are fast xp, at lvl 30 you can also fish salmons. Go back to the Grand exchange and buy this time a fly fishing rod and buy 8.5k feathers, you will need less, but if you are very unlucky you catch too many trouts. from lvl 20-65 you need to catch 8900 trouts or 6357 salmon, thats around 7.5-8k fishies \ still not impressed by the number? head to the second step... map will follow lvl 65-99 this is the last step and the one where you can choose what you do... I will list here various methods and with the money/xp values Salmons and Trouts from lvl 65-99 you can also keep fishing salmon and trouts here are 3 methods for fishing them 1) drop them, when you fished a full inventory just drop them Xp per hour: (at lvl 73) 47k xp per hour Money per hour: Nothing 2) Bank them in edgiville (slowest one) Xp per hour: (at lvl 73) 33k xp per hour Money per hour: 22k 3) Find a runner (someone who takes your salmon and trouts and get rid of them and takes them again if you are full inventory) these can be hard to find sometimes Xp per hour: 48.5k xp per hour money per hour: nothing Swordfish with Swordfish gloves a swordfish normally gives 100xp but if you wear swordfish gloves they will give 200xp, thats wy swordfish with swordfish gloves is good xp... to get swordfish gloves you need 200 tokens in FoG (fist of guthix) to get them is relaxing and yust kill the other players, (most are lvl 40-60) if you are not very high combat and can't get swordfish gloves fast or hate FoG, use salmon and trouts you also need a explorers ring (3) for cabbage port, without it will cost you much more time for a trip. you will drop the tuna becouse they are not worth much and if you drop them you can fish more swordies and that's less bank time  another way is to sell your first inventory tuna (if you have not dropped any yet) to the general store, this saves some time swordfish gloves last for 1000 catches (thats with tuna included around 350k xp) Xp per hour: (at lvl 73) 35k xp money per hour: around 50k map will follow
