Dummies!

well uh..bit noobish of me but i found these dummies in lumby, and as far as i can tell you can almost afk here + they give no hp exp

 

could this be a good place to train?

 

and theoretically could i get say 200m str exp without getting hp up

 

and same with range could ig et 99 range without the hp?

 

also what is the max you can hit on one?

 

oh 1 more thing does avas device work here???

could this be a good place to train? No, they only give Experience up until a certain level, I think it's around 7. And even then it's minimal XP

These have been there since the Tutorial Island updates (I think around then) and they're basically meant for lower-levelled training. After a certain level you can't gain XP from them, it gives you a message "There is nothing more you can learn from hitting a dummy." (although they may have updated it, I'm not sure.)

i am gaining mage exp here as we speak, and i have 89 mage

Are you gaining the normal 4 XP per hit? If so, I could be wrong. Also, do you have to click to attack the dummy every time, or do you automatically attack it?

it's as if you're mining pure essence 1 click, iw ill go cehck the exp rates

the ranged one you got to click each time

 

and the melee gives 1 exp each hit no matte what

I suppose if you want to spend money on offensive runes, it could be good Magic training, but I think Alching would be faster and less costly. Same with fire blasting Iron Dragons.
