the title really says it all. Also, do you have to fight ghasts on the way over?

As for the guam tar, I wouldn't suggest it because a) takes up time and B) it costs money and c)it takes up inventory space. Also, as for the ghasts, there isn't normally any. But still, you SHOULD bring druid pouche(s) anyway, as they wander over every once in a while.
