June 24, 200917 yr Nice! I like them! I've been recently trying to learn html/css for web design, so I'll be sure to take a look at your tutorial once it's finished.

June 25, 200917 yr Author Day two of the tutorial is online :) http://mattehmatt.deviantart.com/art/Ne ... -127136482
June 25, 200917 yr Looks like I've still got quite a bit to learn, it's part two and I'm already lost #-o Though it was the coding that got me :P
June 25, 200917 yr [/b] I know what these are! What's a div? I've heard quite a bit about them, and how they let you use css to style the page, but that's all I know.
June 25, 200917 yr Author @rangeor I dont know exactly what they all do. But from what I understand, the first thing you posted is the document type which will be used to check if you have valid html. the xmlns I have no idea (google it :) ), I just know it needs to be there :P The meta is just to help with search engines to know what type of data the content will be, and the character set is used for browsers. The links will be used to reference CSS files later in the tutorial. I did a tut on divs, you can find it here : http://mattehmatt.deviantart.com/art/Di ... -122857913
June 25, 200917 yr Oh okay! That helped quite a bit : When is part 2 of your DIV coding tutorial going to be up? :P
June 26, 200917 yr I'm still waiting on The Chronicles of Matt's Folio: Helevetica  2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
