While returning Long bones to Barlak for Money and Construction xp If you carry more than one long bone you only receive credit for one only of the bones but he takes them all! If you want to get the Construction experience from all of your bones submit them one at a time or you lose your hard earned Long and/or Curved bones!

I checked this by giving him 2 bones at once and he gave me the correct amount of coins/experience. Maybe you've encountered a bug/glitch? I would suggest reporting it straight away to Jagex.
