The Dark Lord
Okay, I'll ask my first question first. I need to have an estimate for the cost of the remodeling of my POH. I had some grand ideas in mind because I'm planning to buy the materials for 99 construction. I currently have a 70M cash pile, but it's growing. How much will this stuff generally cost? [i'm not too familiar with all of the costs.] Anyway, I'll break it down by level: -Dungeon- For the dungeon, I plan to completely redo it. The one I currently have is large, but it seems to have no purpose other than having useless rooms and not-so-exciting dungeon corridors and obstacles. Here is my layout map:[hide=][/hide] As you can see, it's a large dungeon as well. In fact, it's larger than my current dungeon. However, unlike my dungeon, it has more exciting monsters and obstacles, as well as useful rooms. I am also going to add a bone cage around my northern oubliette (and a [bleep]e pit or tentacle pond, plus a red dragon guard), as well as some torches and hanging skeletons. My dungeon chapel will have a cheap altar (teak) and the best icon of Zamorak (uses gold leafs). The chapel will also contain stained glass, chimes, and large statues. In my study, I am not sure what globe I should put in it, but it will for sure have a demon lectern (best kind for bones to peaches). My portals will have marble frames. The dungeon will also contain a hellhound close to the entrance to the steel dragon boss room, as well as some troll guards close to the oubliette. This oubliette will have another red dragon, just like the northern one. What's a good idea for how to arrange traps and hanging skeletons, pipes, torches, blood splatters, etc? -Ground Level- My ground level felt too open, and I wanted to add a few things to it to make it more aesthetically-pleasing. Not many things have changed with this level, but I need to rotate an ill-planned dining room and replace the gilded bell-pull, opulent table, gilded benches, and marble fireplace that it had. Here is the layout map:[hide=][/hide] I am replacing my teak thrones in the northern throne room with crystal thrones, to both represent Saradomin and look pretty; I will then make another throne room to the south that has Demonic thrones. I am also adding a posh fountain and dungeon cave entrance to my formal gardens, as well as moving my house portal a little bit and replacing my magic trees that will be lost in the process. I may also add a marble wall to one of the formal gardens and keep a fancy garden fence in the other garden (similar to the ones in Varrock Palace.) That is about as major as it gets. -Top Floor- There's nothing much to say about this level. It is basically staying the same, but I'm adding a mahogany telescope and large orrery to kind of sex it up. Here is the layout map:[hide=][/hide] That's basically it for just remodeling the house. For those who couldn't be bothered to read, I'm adding: -6 marble portal frames -2 baby red dragon guards -Zamorak chapel icon (gold leaves) -2 troll guards -1 huge spider guard -1 hellhound -3 opulent rugs -1 Mahogany Demon lectern -1 Dagganoth treasure room boss -1 Tok-Xil boss -1 steel dragon boss -1 magic treasure chest -2 gilded mahogany treasure chests -1 Crystal throne -1 Demonic throne -4 gilded benches -1 marble fireplace -1 posh bell-pull -1 opulent dining table -1 large orrery -2 lesser magic cages -1 dungeon cave entrance -1 marble wall (garden) -1 posh fountain Moving on... ----------- My second question is very simple. How much would 73-99 Construction cost if I made oak larders/dungeon doors by using SC tools? (plus the normal butler's fees) How many proto-tools would I need, and how many tools can I get per game at Stealing Creation? EDIT: If I decided against 99 Construction and decided just to get the minimum level required for getting all of the aforementioned stuff (up to steel dragon boss and 29 rooms), how much would that level cost then, with SC hammers? Thanks. (Sorry for the long post) SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.
GlowinRedM
I can answer a couple of those: SC Hammers with Larders or Dungeon Doors are the best, and you can easily guarantee yourself a tool per game. Can't get more than that though, the max points per game is 29 or 30. The corp beast, is, well, just a corp beast. The Dark Lord
Thanks, Mike. I guess you're the only one that bothered to help. Anyway, how much cash would 73-99 construction cost if I use SC tools? How much would 73-96 cost if I used tools? SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on. GlowinRedM
Well each hammer lasts 50,750xp in Construction, so that is just under 846 Oak Logs (845.667 to be exact, but I think it rounds up?). This should last 85 Oak Dungeon Doors (84.583 to be exact, again I think it rounds). For 99, you would need to get 237 SC Hammers, and 99,847 Oak Logs. This will cost 51,734,732 (at max probably 53m). To get the hammers find a skiller world, it goes tons faster, and the game ends a minute after all of the clay is gathered. Try "Fast Sc123", they usually finish 4 to 6 minutes before the timer should run out, and you won't get pk'd. This is all using Tip.It's calculators with your name, and since I know you have the cash (or really really close to it), I can just say I am expecting a wicked party afterwards if you decide to take the time to do this ;) The corp beast, is, well, just a corp beast.
