Well, you still have a long ways to go to become good. Just practice. First, straight lines do not work at all, it makes the sig look very unrealistic. Make the characters bigger. Work on anatomy a bit (I usually go on from stick figures to then adding all the other details, it works a lot). As for the backround, a wildy scene would work out pretty good, so do that.
