Ok this is how it is... i had my clue i examined it.... told me to go talk to the proffeser to learn how to do coordince clues.... Well i talked to him and he wont tell me nething about it... He always asks if i have his planks for the observatory quest! Do i need to finish the quest?????

no you do not have to do the quest but u do need a watch sextant and chart in ur inven to finish the clue
