Speak with Explorer Jack again about maybe 24 hours (not sure the exact time) after the quest, and he will tell you that Yeti Dung was an ingredient to ancient potions, and give you an additional 5,000 gold coins.

Proof screenshot: Um... can somebody else grab that for me? I forgot to do so, and, all it will look like is that I grabbed 5K from my bank at this point... I forgotted/am new to quest corrections.
