shortkid111
For some reason my printer has been unstalled from my computer. - It was working fine just yesterday. Now if I go Control Panel > Printers and Faxes, a empty folder comes up. When I tried to install the printer from the factory made cd, I get something like "spooler has been stopped, please restart the spooler service." When I go into Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services, the service "Print Spooler" has been stopped. When I try to start it, I get the following error: Could not start the Print Spooler service on Local Computer, 1068: Dependency service or group failed to start. Is there any way for me to fix this without going into the registry? -I ran adaware and spybot on safe mode so it doesn't appear to be caused by a virus or anything like that. weezcake
Try using system restore, and restoring to a point about 1-2 days ago. Your printer settings might come back. (and the print spooler might fix itself) ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
