p2p hybrid pure

Well I'm making a hybrid pure and have a few questions before I become a member and start doing quests.

 

 

 

I'm planning to be about 62-65 combat with 70 Range, 82 Mage.

 

 

 

But when I get into the Melee stats and Prayer levels, I get confused.

 

 

 

So my questions are:

 

 

 

1) Should I get 31 or 43 Prayer (level 27 at the moment)?

 

 

 

2) Should I get 50 Attack for Granite maul or 60 Attack for Dragon dagger?

 

 

 

3) Do you need to have finished Monkey Madness to wield the Dragon scimitar?

First of all, it would have been nice to know your current stats.

 

 

 

Second, your questions:

 

1. You should get 31 Prayer first, and then, if you are having problems with Pjers, get 43 Prayer,

 

2. Both of those methods have their own merits. G Maul allows for 2-3 consecutive very powerful hits, while DDS provides 8 pretty powerful hits (with reduced accuracy, mind you).

 

 

 

3. Yes, but make sure you do NOT talk to Daero in the end or else you will get Def XP.

 

 

 

I would level up Attack through quests to make your leveling up easier, mainly Vampire Slayer, Waterfall Quest, Tree Gnome Village, The Grand Tree, Death Plateau, and Fight Arena. Those quests, from 1 Attack and Strength, will get you 45 Attack and 30 Strength, which will make training Strength alot easier at Rock Crabs/Experiments (After Creature of Fenkenstrain).

 

 

 

Same with Prayer, but these quests instead:

 

Restless Ghost (optional)

 

Priest in Peril

 

Ghost Ahoy

 

Mountain Daughter

 

Recruitment Drive

 

Spirits of the Elid

 

 

 

All these quests, if you do not do Restless Ghost, will get you 30 Prayer; with Restless Ghost, it will be 1000 xp over 31 Prayer (according to Zybez). If you decide to not do Restless Ghost, all you will have to do is bury 6 Regular (2 Big) Bones for 31 Prayer.

 

 

 

NOTE: This is all assuming you won't touch Attack, Strength, or Prayer as an F2P.
