last night i deleted some file called sound man or sound blaster...

 

 

 

the icon looked like a spider and thought it was spyware..

 

 

 

anyways now my speakers wont work they dont emmit sound and windows keeps saying "new harware found do you want to install it?"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

what should i do? how can i fix it?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The speakers are Gli-768

use system restore and set it to sometime before you deleted the file

I'm guessing your using a soundcard and not onboard sound?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reinstall the drivers for your sound card, should be on a CD which you had with the sound card. Failing that, give the name of the soundcard and hopefully, we can find you the drivers online. If it's onboard then look for your motherboard CD...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don't use system restore unless it's really necessary.
