Players should be able buy and send random events or gifts

Featured Replies

Hey, how about this for an idea.

Have runescape create a gift shop that players can buy and send to other players. Options should be able to send the random events that RS has already, be able to buy gifts like for valentine day, April fools day, halloween, christmas. or be able to send skill points from our own account. Maybe make an item and have it gift wrapped and sent.

Limit to three times in a month for each player.

What do you think?? Any takers to reward good players in the game??

Should we have a seasonal shop depending on the Holiday? Like our shops in the real world changes. Have clothes, masks, or love gifts. This way we spend our money, RS does not have to have drop they don't want to do. If we have wedding in RS why not shoping for our items.

It's a cute idea, but to be honest it would be useless to me. I don't know anyone I play RS with that I feel the need to give a gift to. Maybe those who actually have a RS girlfriend/boyfirend would care about this. I'm also married in RL, so maybe that makes a difference :)

i love that idea i would spend loads to send my friend endless dr fords just to annoy them lol.

The ideas ok. But imagine how many people would send famous players random events. And you coudl send a load of def. exp to a pure if i readthat right.

The idea of a shop where you can buy & sell items that are currently non-tradable works for me.

Sending random events or experience points to other players don't. There's a player in high-scores with like 100 million experience points in attack. Imagine if this player "gave away" some of that experience? Instantly, some 99 of his friends immediately jump to at least level 73 attack. Without having to work for it? Not only is this not fair, but it defeats the purpose of skill training in a game.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.

What could these strange symbols mean?

If people where jumping lvls wouldn't the top people also jump lvls. Its the whole 'should there be more than 99 lvl' thing all over again.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

heh, id be willing to pay a sizly amount to send a rock golem to an autoing character

i think genies would have to be taken out to give a little more balance

Nice idea, but it needs a little more detail. What if somebody got hacked, and when they got their account back they checked their stats, but to their horror they were lvl 3 (again :x )...

how about once a day you get the ability to send a random event,, ebcause random events were amde to get rid of auoters and avcers, yet they cant neccesariyl see what we c, so if playa afc from computer then we cans end and try and kill em for their stuff, this wud make pplz concentrate on game more,,,,,, however it wud have disadvantages suchs as zezima wud be spammed wif them ooo wait maybe a player can also only recieve 1 a day aswell :P it workes SUCESS
