Rock Lobsters (Burst or Barrage)

Featured Replies

Which is better in terms of saving money? Does anyone know?

Burst is obviously cheaper, But barrage does more damage and hits more accurate, I have been bursting but just want to know if it would save me time to barrage, and cost about the same....

Factoring only crimsons and using mid ge prices (runes are on the rise so this will be a bit inaccurate) you need 7,526 crimson charms for 78-88 summoning (just using as an example). At 180 crims per hour barraging and 146 crims per hour bursting with 500 casts/h barrage and 550 casts/h burst, you need 21,000 barrage or 29,000 burst. Barrage would cost 56.7m and burst would cost 40.89m. Barraging would take 42 hours, bursting would take around 53 hours. You would have to value your time at over 1.437m per hour, there are other factors such as extra mage exp for barraging but you're already 99 mage do I don't think that means much to you. Do note though that if you figure in the other charms that number will be lower, by how much I can't say.
