well mines being stupid, it says it's connected to the internet, my routers working and all but it says its unable to connect..

 

anyone know how to fix this so it stops happening?

At the Wi-Fi screen, try tapping the network you're connecting to. Helps me with that problem sometimes.

 

Also, for future reference, it's the iPod Touch ;)

Hard reset your device by holding the Home and Sleep button at the same time until the device powers off. Turn the device on. Go into Settings>General>Reset and reset the Network Settings. It will ask you for your passcode and then wipe your network configuration, allowing it to rebuild. When it comes back on, go back into Settings>Wi-Fi and select your network.
