D:\ is not a valid Win32 application

Well my college got Windows 7 a couple weeks before it is released, and sells it cheap to students. I got Windows 7 ultimate for $7 :) But on my Macbook pro, I had xp on bootcamp, and installed 7 instead of bootcamp. Everything was working fine, until I tried to install Oblivion. I got the message in the title. When I open the file and click on setup[Caution: Executable File], it waits like 20 minutes and gives an error something like 00xc00000006 or something. I googled oblivion windows 7, and people say it works fine. Any ideas on what I can do to fix it? Thanks a bunch!

Win 7 doesnt work with older mac hardware correctly when installled through bootcamp. (Older here having the definition of most pre-2006 models) According to apple, it's a driver problem and you can't do anything about it.

Don't let my post count think I'm not tellnig the truth, I normally only lurk but I happened to read about this just 10 minutes ago on a techsite.
