I've just gotten a brand new ps3 and these headsets today ( :P ) and when I talk and hear people, you can't really hear it loud or clearly, and your voice isn't loud or clear either. I don't really know how to fix the sound, because I just bought the ps3. Any step by step instructions will be greatly appreciated.

Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

Try settings -> accessories -> audio device settings

 

You can then change the volume.
