Display driver

Featured Replies

When I'm just doing stuff on my computer, the screen goes black, then it goes back to what I was doing. Then a pop up comes up and says the display driver had some problem, but it was corrected. Anyone know what's wrong?

Edit: Seems to only happen when I play rs hd.

By chance, is it a Dell?

In any case, what is your graphics card card and what OS are you running?

It's an HP. I'm on windows 7 and the graphics card is a mobile intel® 4 series express chipset family. I think. :ohnoes:

Ah. I just had the same problem on my Dell. I reinstalled the OS, reinstalled the drivers, and more, but nothing helped. Not that I am spouting that this problem should only happen to Dells (as no doubt, someone one would have taken it that way) but it was one of the problems that lead me to threaten a lawsuit. In any case, someone here should direct you to reinstall your IGP (integrated graphics card) drivers. I'm not currently running Windows and do not remember the do-how.
