well... my cannon degraded and i can't get a replacement one from nulodian, and rolad doesn't recognize me because i changed my name. I already bought a new one, but it doesn't let me set it up because it says i can only have one cannon set up at a time.

On the tip.it ranging guide under cannon, it says to speak to the dwarf engineer to get it back. Not sure if this will help, but its worth a try. Hope you get it back! ;-)

Well is it nulodian or rolad? or is it actually a guy called dwarf engineer? and if it is just a guy called dwarf engineer then where is he?

It's Nulodian. In the Dwarf Camp, it's in the house on the left (West) side. He's the only Dwarf in said house.

But what do i say to him, i've tried just about every option there is to say to him. Does it make a difference that I bought the cannon from somebody else?

It shouldn't.

It doesn't matter who you bought it from. Just as long as you set it up (not dropping the peices on the ground) you can get it back from him for free.

well, isn't he just supposed to say something about it when you first talk to him though. Cause nothing i say will give me an option of getting my cannon back for free, or even for money either.

 

Edit: I finally figured it out. I had to ask to buy a cannon, but not have enough money, and then talk to him again, and there was the "I've lost my cannon" option.
