Mmangler
I have to admit it. I am not very good at quests though I do try to solve the puzzles on my own before screaming and trying to get help. The first time I needed help I logically went to RS but the help menu said that it would cost one quest point for help. Not having a lot of quest points, I canceled and I was luck enough to get help from a friend. Later, it occurred to me that if I had used the RS help that it would have cost me a quest point and that I would never be able to regain the point, which is my question. Has anyone used the RS quest help and if yes, did you permanently lose a quest point?
ham100000001
You don't lose a quest point. You lose a help point which you get back up to 4 everyday. I have used it many times.
schmuall
It doesn't cost you Quest Points, it costs you some other arbitary currency that has no other interaction with your runescape account. Feel free to use the official help, sometime it can be really helpful (eg. for puzzles which are specific to your account) give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
Youmu
I don't use quest help, and I'm pretty sure it does not take off quest points. Besides, all the F2P quests and holiday events are easy. Mmangler
Thank you everyone for replying. I usually need help with quests because I am quest challenged and I find them difficult. Thanks again.
