so, lately ive been reading a bit of poetry and im wondering if anyone has any favourite poems?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have three (couldnt decide a favourite)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? - William Shakespeare

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once more unto the breach (Henry V) - William Shakespeare

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sappers! - Rudyard Kipling

If by Rudyard Kipling. It really is a fantastic poem.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wow. That is awesome. You don't even have to look for deeper meaning, it has depth on the surface...if that makes sense...

My personal favorites, although I am not exactly "well versed," are The Tyger by William Blake, High Flight by John Magee, The Jabberwock by Lewis Carrol, and another one (you'll like this last one best if you have read Shakespeare's Hamlet :wink:
