October 28, 200520 yr If by Rudyard Kipling. It really is a fantastic poem. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
October 28, 200520 yr The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock is a good one. By Eliot. Basically...anything Eliot writes, I like. Not just because he wrote it, but because its guaranteed to be amazing.
October 29, 200520 yr If by Rudyard Kipling. It really is a fantastic poem. Wow. That is awesome. You don't even have to look for deeper meaning, it has depth on the surface...if that makes sense... Thanks for sharing. :D My personal favorites, although I am not exactly "well versed," are The Tyger by William Blake, High Flight by John Magee, The Jabberwock by Lewis Carrol, and another one (you'll like this last one best if you have read Shakespeare's Hamlet  Enjoy :D And, don't let me forget...Alexander Pope's immortal "Epigram Engraved on the Collar of a Dog Which I Gave to His Royal Highness": I am his highness's dog at Kew; Pray tell me, sir, whose dog are you?
