Mining from 73 - 77 (P2P)

Well im dumb when it comes to mining, i prefer not to do like granite but im willing to grind it a little for 77. I most likely will use some clay pick axes by using a clay clan for fast games as i like sc more than mining. But my question is what is the fastest way to 77 and then 77 to 80 and then gold all the way. Also is the d pick worth dropping that amount of cash on? I have plenty of cash but im just wondering.

Power mining granite or iron is the fastest way sadly. Stars help break up the monotony a little but really mining is one of those skills that you just have to grind away at. Music is a good way to keep you sane and breaking it up a little is also advisable if you're not someone who finds mining enjoyable or else you'll get bored quick.

I do not own a D Pickaxe myself, but from what I have heard from others if you have the money to spare and are serious about mining then you may as well buy it, if not don't bother.

If you haven't completed the Varrock AD that would be worthwhile the extra ore bonus too.

I do own a varock plate and am going for all skills 80+ and might get mining really high.
