Hello,

 

Im pretty new here and i was told that i would get much faster a answere here than on jagex forums.

So ive got a problem when im clicking on Play Now i get a Black screen. ( not even the red Loading bar is coming up).

The ads on the upper half of the screen load and i can see them but the game window just wont open.

I already updated my Windows and updated my java + Rebooted PC. But nothing of that did help.

 

Here are some more informations about my Laptop:

 

Operating system : Vista 64bit

Processor type and speed : Intel ® Core 2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53ghz (2CPUS) , ~2.5 Ghz

Amount of system RAM : 4060 MB Ram

Graphics card Make / Model : Ati Mobility Radeon HD 4650

Graphics card driver version : Version: 7.15.0010.0163 (english)

Internet Browser (and version) : Mozilla firefox (3.5.5)

Java Version : I dont know where i can check it.

Internet Connection and ISP : 6mbs Alice (germany) DSL

Happens in SD, HD or both? I just click on play Now and a black screen comes.. i can see the ads up there but nothing else

This exact thing happened to me and I asked the question on the tech and computers forums(you'll probably get a good answer there) they told me java was crashing and to uninstall it then reinstall a newer version of it. If that doesn't work then I got nothin lol

So ya try uninstalling java completely from your computer and reinstalling it, that doesn't take very long even though it seems like it would.
